Our Treatments

I offer a carefully selected range of aesthetic and skin treatments. Each one is designed to work with your skin, improve quality over time and deliver subtle, confidence-boosting results.

Wrinkle relaxing treatment

Anti-wrinkle injections are used to soften expression lines while maintaining natural movement. Treatments are tailored to your face and your preferences, ensuring results look refreshed, not frozen.

  • Those with dynamic (on movement) wrinkles, good skin health and realistic and appropriate expectations.

  • Those with active infection or inflammation at the proposed site of treatment, known allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients, pre-existing neuromuscular disorders such as Motor Neurone Disease, Eaton Lambert Syndrome and Myasthenia, and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Caution will be applied to those with blood clotting disorders, some autoimmune diseases if not well controlled, and those taking certain medications, which will be covered in your consultation.

  • Wrinkle-softening injections block the chemical signals coming from your nerves which usually tell your muscles to contract. When the muscles are relaxed the skin that lies over them is smooth. We aim to create a result that is soft and natural looking, rather than frozen.

  • Typically 3 to 4 months. Results peak between 2 and 4 weeks after treatment then gradually wear off over time. A face to face review is carried out 2 weeks after treatment to assess the results.

  • There is potential for bruising with any injection and a mild headache afterwards is normal. It is recommended that you do not lay completely flat for 4 hours following treatment or touch the areas that have been treated for the rest of the day. You should avoid very strenuous exercise and extreme heat such as saunas for 48 hours after.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are used to gently restore lost volume, enhance facial structure and reduce shadows. Treatments are carefully placed to support natural facial balance and maintain facial harmony.

  • They are an injectable treatment largely made up of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the body which helps the skin to draw in and retain moisture. Our natural levels of HA decline as we age. When injected into the face, fillers immediately replace lost volume and give definition and a more youthful appearance as well as aiding hydration over time.

  • Typically 12 to 18 months.

  • Make sure you are well hydrated and avoid alcohol for 24 hours either side of your appointment as this will reduce your risk of swelling and bruising. Avoid blood thinning medication for at least 3 days prior. Ideally come to your appointment makeup free.

  • Numbing cream will be applied to the areas that will be treated approximately 20 minutes beforehand. The filler itself also contains anaesthetic so the areas being treated will become more numb as you are being injected. Some areas will feel tender afterwards and you can take paracetamol if needed. It is not recommended that you take ibuprofen as this will increase your risk of bruising.

  • You should remain makeup free and avoid touching the treated areas for the rest of the day. Swelling, bruising and tenderness is normal and will settle over the coming days, although can last up to a week. Applying ice after your appointment will help with swelling. Avoid very strenuous exercise for 48 hours post treatment.

Sculptra

A regenerative treatment that stimulates your own collagen production and works long term to tighten and brighten your skin from within. Targets lines and wrinkles, sagging and dull skin.

  • Unlike traditional fillers which provide immediate volume, Sculptra stimulates collagen production to gradually restore volume and firmness over time. This injectable treatment can be used to treat the face, neck and body and is perfect for those looking for natural, long term rejuvenation. Treatment is done with a cannula for safety and reduced risk of bruising.

  • No. Numbing cream will be applied to the areas that will be treated approximately 20 minutes beforehand.

  • Some swelling and redness is normal immediately afterwards and will settle over the coming hours. It is really important to firmly massage the treated areas at least twice daily for two weeks following treatment.

  • This depends on your age, skin quality and degree of volume loss and will be discussed at your consultation. Usually at least 2 treatments initially, spaced 8 weeks apart.

  • Results develop over weeks and last for up to 2 years.

Skin Boosters

These treatments improve hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality from within, supporting healthier, more resilient skin over time.

  • This injectable treatment provides deep hydration and restores elasticity. Made up largely of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body which helps the skin to draw in and retain moisture, it improves overall skin quality and texture, giving your skin a natural and undeniable glow. Commonly used to treat the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

  • Numbing cream will be applied to your skin approximately 20 minutes before the treatment and you will feel only a mild discomfort at most.

  • Some mild swelling, redness and bruising is possible. Avoiding alcohol for a day either side of your treatment reduces your risk of bruising. You should also avoid touching the treated areas for the rest of the day and abstain from wearing makeup until the next day. Very strenuous exercise should be avoided for 48 hours afterwards.

  • A course of 3 Restylane skin boosters or a course of 4 Jalupro skin boosters is recommended initially. The difference between these two treatments will be discussed at your consultation.

  • You should see an improvement in your skin hydration after the second treatment and the results will improve with time. Eventually your skin will be plumper, firmer and more radiant.

Polynucleotides

These treatments improve hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality from within, supporting healthier, more resilient skin over time.

  • A regenerative injectable derived from purified salmon or trout DNA. This treatment works at a cellular level to stimulate fibroblasts which increases cell turnover, aids your skin's ability to heal and reduces inflammation. Can be used to treat any area on the body but most commonly used for face, neck, décolletage and hands. When used around the eyes they can reduce dark circles and improve skin quality and laxity.

  • They do sting, but numbing cream will be applied to your skin approximately 20 minutes before the treatment and most people tolerate it well.

  • You will have some redness and small bumps on your skin which will go down over the coming hours and days. You may have some bruising which can last for up to a week. Avoiding alcohol for a day either side of your treatment reduces your risk of bruising. You should also avoid touching the treated areas for the rest of the day and abstain from wearing makeup until the next day. Very strenuous exercise should be avoided for 48 hours afterwards.

  • A course of 3 or 4 is recommended initially, spaced 3 weeks apart, with a booster dose every 6 months to maintain results.

  • They work very gradually over weeks and months. Results will be seen from about 3 weeks and will be at their best approximately 4 months after a full course of treatments. Skin will be stronger and more resilient with a reduction in fine lines and a more even skin tone and texture. You should notice that your skin is firmer, plumper and more radiant.

  • Not usually. Most people describe it as a mild scratching sensation

  • A course of 4–6 sessions, then maintenance every few months.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels help brighten the skin, refine texture and improve concerns such as pigmentation, acne and scarring.

  • Biorepeel is a medium depth peel that deeply exfoliates skin, removes excess oil, shrinks pores and improves uneven skin tone and texture. It is a liquid solution that is applied to your skin for just a few minutes.

  • No. The peel is only on your skin for a maximum of 5 minutes. It can feel intensely tingly during this time which resolves as soon as it is removed from your skin.

  • Your skin may be red and feel warm immediately afterwards which will settle over the coming hours. You will experience some degree of dry, flaky skin for up to a week afterwards but this varies a lot between people. You will need to avoid extreme heat, strenuous exercise and direct sunlight for at least 48 hours. High SPF is recommended for at least a week afterwards. It is important to keep yourself and your skin very well hydrated in the days afterwards.

  • You will need to avoid waxing, semi-permanent makeup, tanning, bleaching and active skin care for 2 weeks before and after your treatment. Ideally come to your appointment makeup free.

  • A course of 4 is recommended initially, spaced at least 2 weeks apart then one every 3-6 months.

  • Most people see results after just one treatment and these will improve throughout the course.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is a quick and effective treatment for the removal of unwanted skin lesions including skin tags, warts, verrucas, cherry angiomas and pigmentation, with minimal discomfort and downtime.

  • Cryotherapy uses liquid nitrous oxide to freeze unwanted skin tags, benign moles, warts and verrucas quickly, safely and efficiently.

  • No but it feels intensely cold. The liquid leaves the device at minus 80 degrees and is minus 40 when it hits the skin. It only takes a matter of seconds.

  • Immediate redness and slight itching is normal afterwards due to the body’s natural histamine response but this settles within minutes. Some lesions will develop a crust or scab and may even blister. This is all normal and there is no particular aftercare. If it blisters it’s important not to pop it but if it pops naturally you should keep it clean and dry. You may wish to cover it with a plaster for comfort.

  • This varies depending on the type and size of lesion being treated. They can take up to 6 weeks to go all together and some may even need a second treatment after 4 weeks.
